Man, I wish they add a management sim to this game where you run an empire. Buy restaurants, apartment blocks, setup brothels etc.
Bribe politicians, and policeman to stay out of trouble. Get into mob wars with rival gangs. A man can dream.
it's a buggy mess with broken ai and a 4 hour walking sim intro before you can fire a gun then the game ends less than 4 hours later with a shitty ending

But I can't go racketeering? I can't sell prostitutes and drugs? That's lame. IIRC didn't the old godfather games on the ps2 allow you to run an empire?

This is kind of what we all want in a Mafia game, to be honest. Making it a simulation or to be a Mafia enforcer like Murder Inc. that takes down targets, muscle in territory, and shakes businesses. But developers are hell bent on wanting to give us this story narrative slop

They should've learned from the Godfather games. Very disappointed that we'll never get a Mafia 2 equivalent where the open world is fleshed out

it's fucking ass I played it last night for three hours, had two fights, a stealth mission and the rest was walking/riding sim press W to progress. You're fucking loading crates for the first 2 hours like a retard.
Also one thing that triggered me how the post card that Enzo had was literally just the Mafia 2 main menu skyline
Those buildings would be mostly built in the late 20s-early 30s, I'm usually not one to get particular about that kind of stuff but it sorta throws you off
