The days of the "White Internet" are over. We share this space now with Chinks, Indians, Somalians, every single third world rat is now here with us. It's the third worlders.

The right devs probably know how to tinker with it but in my experience developers just get the engine and stick with whatever it comes with unquestioningly, even amping shit up. So you usually get this weird gray fog everywhere... which would make sense for shit like five miles away but it's literally in the room in here with us right now in their videogame.
Also, unless the modelers and texture people are on point, it looks pretty plastic-like with models, especially humans.
