Compare it with the intros to 1 and 2 though. In 1 you get immediately into a car chase running from people, and only the next mission after is a slow one because he goes back to his normal job. 2 is just non-stop really, with the only dogshit pacing killer being selling those gas tickets which is just a full circle around the map on a time limit. If you fail, no checkpoints. Not one before you start, the closest checkpoint was before the mission even starts.

The mine section should've been longer. I hate how the mc forgets his dead friend quickly after the escape.

How does this compare as Mediterranean kino compared to AC Odyssey and Dragon's Dogma (Gransys is based on Sicily)

1.) Player is retarded and takes forever to do anything. If you play you can do it as fast or slow as you want
2.) Player picked X when you wanted to pick Y during a decision

It's such a shame that the game is so beautiful, and yet it all serves as window dressing. It seems like you can't interact with the world in any meaningful way. Can you even rob stores? Perform heists? Recruit thugs? Run a business? Pay off politicians and cops. I can keep going. It will be cool if the devs could add most of these features in freeplay mode in the future.
