Why did Sylvanas shatter the sky anyway? All souls were already going to the maw, and it's not like there was an invasion force ready on the other side like the dark portal. Was it just to abduct Anduin? Why would you really need to open the rift when it being closed has never really stopped the jailer's previous shenanigans and somehow controlling everything from the maw anyway. Why would destroying the helm of domination even result in opening the Shadowlands when it was just a tool for control of the scourge?

The answer is probably just rule of cool, but that doesn't work at all when what you're making is so lame and gay.

Tazavesh takes a massive steaming dump on any of the delves or new dungeons in graphical quality and it's more than 5 years old now. The buildup was there and it started when Vol'jin named Sylvanas warchief. She went downhill from there and her decisions became more and more morally questionable, especially in BFA where she started killing even her own people trying to win the war. Then in the fight with Saurfang she used magic nobody, not even Jaina, could recognize.

If people cared even a little bit about the story and cinematics, they could've seen something was coming. Instead they all bandwagon on the hate train because "girlboss killed the lich king hurr durr bad writing". Sylvanas showed she was turning evil and has strange powers, Bolvar hasn't done a single fucking thing since he put on the helmet and somehow everyone expected him to be the winner.

I think the last part is the big problem. Bolvar didnt do SHIT, got hyped up in Legion, and then jobbed immediately after getting out of the freezer to a bitch that should technically be beneath him if not for tge jlore asspull she had, not having any plot relevancy whatsoever.
If anything he should have had at least a little bit of proper buildup, like a ruse prepatch where he is amassing a scourge army to go to Icecrown for some greater deal hes too autistic to explain to everyone, and is actually a threat to everyone as a result and wipes the floor with both factions, and then Sylvanas comes and cue the trailer.

Classic WoW had a lot of different stories such as the black dragons infiltrating the human nobles in SW and also recruiting members of the horde that didnt join the new horde with thrall. Or the regional stories such as the winterfall corrutpion or duskwood. There are tons of them. Outland also had a ton of stories that were regional but the plot with Illidan is that he and Kael and Vash fled to outland after they failed to kill the lich king and are preparing for a burning legion invasion. Illidan defeated magtheridon so a lot of demons chose to side with him. The blood elves have a civil war because some of them stayed in Quel Thalas and chose to join Sylvanas and the horde after they helped them defeat the scourge in the ghostlands. Wotlk was nonsense

Yeah, but that's because all the souls released from it ganged up on him, not because he became harmless by losing the sword itself. DK Arthas with Frostmourne is definitely weaker than LK Arthas without it
