Woah, this game fucking sucks. I'm only level 2 and the parts where you have to rotate the houses while the demon skull is chasing you has to be one of the most unfun things I've ever played in a video game. What the fuck was Suda 51 thinking when he came up with this? Didn't he even play it himself? What a piece of shit game.

1. was just paced better and the levels weren't so needlessly long. Like cut the first ~3 stages of all of them. Also
2. make dodge rolling not useless
NMH3 is pretty good again even if course not 1 and 2 tier

I liked it well enough. I don't think it's worth it to use any of the other characters, though. They pretty much all play the same. Was especially disappointing with the last two characters

Still Travis is such a compelling character and I miss soulful Suda games so I just got Desperate Struggle just now, I'm surprised to see an nmh thread lol, I was just watching a recap of the 1st game because it's been years since I've played it.
Anyway I heard TSA is a trash game but it's worth playing for the story alone.. so here I go
Also NMH2 on steam got updated just 2 months ago, makes me wonder if a 4th game is coming

I always hated that NMH2 chose to forgo including some of the shittier things in the first one like biking around the place instead of trying to improve them. Though playing through some of NMH3 makes me think they're not going to do it much better if they had tried
