Like it or not, AI is going to replace gamedevs, writers, musicians, and artists almost entirely
I for one look forward to it

Its going to replace all of these in AAA slop games i already dont play.
And normies will slurp up all that slop and pretend its good for a time.
All why oversaturating the market whit AI copy pasted slop.
Its gonna be asset flip NFT games 2.0

Meanwhile AA and Indie games and a few made by actual humans will still be around and even some Japanese AAA companies that will not use AI ether out of principle or the higher ups refusing to try new thing and nothing of value will be lost.
I cant wait for the market to crash and normies like you who cry that gaming is shit now because all the slop you already play is more sloppy than ever.

Honestly I could see Indie games using A.I. to speed production becoming a huge thing. Not sure if that will be a good thing or not, and I'm sure indie devs that don't use A.I. ain't going anywhere. I guess it just becomes a question if the slop code becomes stable and competent enough to hold a small project together.

I think it's a shame that AI is going to be used almost entirely for art, writing, music, all for the sake of generative slop with zero care or effort with almost no one actually looking to implement it into the actual game design.

I can relate to that picture. It always freaks me out when techy people don't understand the gravity of AI making pictures and stuff.

I actually don't think it will.
I think this tech is massively overhyped by cynical business men looking to make a quick buck and the bubble will pop.
