BFV is closer to BF6 in terms of gameplay than BF1. BF1 has a lot more players and casuals if farming noobs is more your thing. BFV can get pretty sweaty, and you will be running into like top 1% players a lot more in BFV

I was a monster at bf1 and v but after skipping 2042 and trying this game, I feel like I aged 20 years. I am consistently dogshit and dying constantly and I’m not sure why. I think it’s the map design which lends itself to being flanked everywhere nonstop, whereas in previous bf games it kinda felt like you had to earn your flanks. If someone shot me from behind, I fucked up. When i get shot from behind in this game, it feels like i lost a gamble on a slot machine that required no effort on anyone’s part. a test of human psychology by the devs to keep me engaged and trying on subsequent life after subsequent life for better luck. Unfortunately, between me sucking dick at this game and what I feel are some more objective parts of it (extremely low visual clarity, maps are unfun, people sprinting around and jumping like it’s modern cod movement), I think I’ll pass. I’m at the stage where I want a more fun experience than sweaty, and I feel I can have that in bf1 and bfv but not in this game.

BFBC2 showed what the game could do.
BF3 has always been the best. LevelCap agrees. There are still a couple servers live during the day, but late night it's dead
BF4 has too many bugs and exploits.
BF1 is so woke, look who they chose for the cover.
BFV is missing a lot for historical accuracy.
BF2042 is mostly colored characters.
BF6 is SPOILER fun.
