I don't mind linearity, but I do mind the levels being fucking boring. There are almost no traps, tricks, puzzles or ambushes in the entire game. No cool secrets, no enemies interacting with the environment, no clever placement, no reason to pay attention.
picked up the game recently and honestly I am enjoying it. The fact that it feels like dark souls is good to me. I am tired of games wanting to be "souls" and then just having 1 mechanic from it.
I prefer this carbon copy with a new story, setting and cool weapons. It does its job. I am like at chapter 7 of the game. About to go kick Alchemists butts.
