Is it that hard to consider that maybe I don't always self-insert as the main character when I play a game? The character is a tool for me to explore the world, so if I want it to look like a big titty anime bitch, that's my damn right as the player. I don't have to want to be her to look at her.

If given the option, I'll play a girl because I like girls. However if the game has some kind of romance angle, I'll play a guy since I find it too weird to rp the relationship from the female side.

Had a mini breakdown some days ago, where I remembered experientially, I dont want to be a woman.

Being female just unlocks better romance and clothing options. If I'm a female character I can have short hair or long, I can wear a skirt or pants. Also the romance options are generally better, look at Stardew, if you play as a male your choices are a bimbo and trailer trash and if you play a girl your choices are sensitive chads like Shane and Elliott .

Nothing wrong with it unless you are a mentally ill self-inserter, it's just a fantasy.
