I wanted to make a cooking minigame for my game, what videogame has good cooking or at least something that is interesting and fun?
So far I have played cooking mama and the KH3 cooking minigame that sucks balls.

My idea you can use
>different ingredients
>they each have different bars denoting different stages of readiness
>each ingredients take differing amount of time to be ready
>preparing ingredients also take time
>recipes will call for different ingredients at different stages of readiness
>time management as you have to make sure the ingredients are in the perfect stage of readiness while also balancing prepping the individual ingredients
>example
>making tomato and mushroom soup
>start by boiling water
>water has 6 bar of readiness before it boils over, and the recipe calls for you to add tomato at 5 bar and mushroom at 4 bar
>while water is boiling, you prep the tomato and mushroom by cutting them
>tomato takes longer to cut so you cut it first
>tomato is ready and the water is now at 3 bar, so you have time to chop mushrooms
>mushrooms aren’t ready but the water is now at 5 bar, so you stop cutting mushrooms and add tomato to the water
>this cools by 2 bar so the tomato soup is now back to 3 bar
>you finish the mushroom as the soup boils to 4 bar
>you add the completed mushroom for a perfect recipe
>recipes get more complicated as different methods of cooking and ingredients increase

Regarding OP, Cooking simulator is actually pretty decent. Something less complicated/ in depth as a minigame would probably work well.

>implying theres a difference

Jeet detected. Differentiating between shades of poop is like climbing into the sewer to classify individual turds. Its all shit.
