Just played a super-scary game. It had enemies that were invisible and would watch you and not make a noise or try to attack you. It's very unsettling. I wouldn't have even known they were there but I was just experimenting and I noticed I was being watched. I thought it might have been a jump-scare in waiting and they would move once I looked at them. But that didn't happen either.

never seen anything like it. The enemies, in this game, I think, they function on a totally spiritual level and the game might end based solely on how I react to the ghosts that haunt me. Or something. I don't know. I turned it off when the sun came up I felt like the game might be ruined if I played in daylight.

oh no, the scary dreams don't work on me anymore because I can realize when they are happening. They need certain set-ups and I can recognize it. They fucking loved to try get me with the "fake wakeup" trick but I can tell whether or not I'm really awake or not.

It's really hard for me to be scared by games. You have to be fully immersed in them. That's where VR could really shine.

The butterfly poem implies that I am supposed to "face" my fears and nothing more. It makes sense, in connection to seeing enemies that apparently do nothing to me.

But the rules imply that some enemies can hurt me. a video game with "rules" is weird. Only board games have those.

if you wanted to make a fatal frame thread why did you have to be an autistinigger about it?

You must be more of an ideological fatal frame fan than a practical one.
