Even on low rate servers, a high level Wizard would at most take a few seconds to cast the highest tier AoE spells.

Never again will we have a keyboard-filling spell arsenal that isn't a WoW-skill rotation.
Never again will you cast a spell that requires allies to be near you.
Never again will you cast spells that require allies to mob the enemies for you.
Never again will we have healers acting as just healers without having a DPS tree to level up solo which they can re-spec any time.

I literally grew up with it. it was my first mmo. I paid for iRO. it was dogshit. Legitimately the most grindy boring slop I have ever played, and I got all the way to level 70 or so as assassin. the later classes in private servers like the qigong monk thing is at least a little interesting, but theres nothing in the game worth doing for any of the classes to ever matter.

Anyway your opinion is irrelevant unless you played arcturus (you didn't)

Do retards seriously think being forced to act as a fucking macro script makes the game better? Spells and skills need to be meaningful, not a fucking auto attack that requires 5 keys.

The original Ragnarok online understood the pointlessness of skill-rotation gameplay just 1 year after WoW. If you want to auto-attack you auto-attack, if you want to use a spell you're gonna burn some of your mana because you deem it meaningful.
If feels like we'll never, ever again have an RPG game that isn't mega retarded.

If anything, most MMO games have too many useless skills that unnecessarily bloat the game. Genshin and other similar gachas like ZZZ and Wuthering Waves have the right amount of skills. The absolute most skills an MMO should have is like Guild Wars 2.

Hey retards, if skill rotation is such a great thing for an RPG, how come D&D doesn't implement skill rotation gameplay and just have the players sit around predictably casting their macros every turn?

Isn't it bizarre how Ragnarok online was one of the few games to ever try to make D&D real time without giving up on the grid based combat? Not even the fucking IP holders of D&D ever did that.
