this game wouldnt be bad if bethesdas lore wasnt garbage and they made a decent setting
i played this game several hundred hours, the main criticizes against it are kind of unfounded as they are the expected bethesda jank, but there is nothing to keep me engaged with the setting its all the most bland and uninteresting scifi utopianism, liberal utopianism, libertarian utopianism, snek utopianism. just boring

God how does Bethesda make such ugly fucking games when they have so much money

Whole game was shallow and unpolished. Might've been a good game if they made a gritty hard scifi setting with good characters and harsh survival. Might've been a good game if they made an over the top scifi space fantasy setting where you fight against the evil SPACE EMPIRE. Instead it's just this foggy hazy of a concept of a game world where there's some generic scifi dystopia stuff and some generic magic stuff but they don't care about any of it.
