I mean, they are paying extra attention to make sure she fits into the world with her actually hacking into Guilty Gear verse.
She glitches around the place, doesn't even have the jumping magical ring and shit.
And it makes fine enough sense as Guilty Gear lore, insane bullshit that it is, does make it fairly clear the world has magic because of a matrix-like world of Backyard. A hacker getting into Backyard's codebase and interacting with the world of GG through that is really the only sensible option if you want to pretend anyone gives a fuck about the lore underlying the already ridiculous story.
Can't exactly do that with a Latino teen or a gun-totting lolibaba.

It was a thing they started doing late season 2 into start of season 3 I think, too many matches at all the big tournaments (including basically every grand final with TempestNYC in it) were effectively won off someone doing a DP RC into a full turn around. It started with disallowing RC on blocked/whiffed DPs then they made it just a universal thing for all invincible DPs and took invuln off H DPs on characters who have multiple to boot.
You may still be able to RC the non-invuln DPs, I don't remember if they left that in.
