Specs are different from how they were in legion, but you need hero talents (gained between 70 and 80) for the whole kit to come together
Gear is split into multiple tiers now, and can be upgraded up to 8 times. This means that you don't have to rely on lucky drops for upgrades, but can instead use the "Crests" currency (obtained from playing the game) to increase the ilvl
Your best source of gear endgame is the weekly vault. Doing activities unlock stronger items that you can claim once a week, allowing you to even get mythic raiding gear without doing it
M+ dungeons are easier than Legion as all the cancerous affixes are gone. +2 is the lowest key level, +10 is pretty high.
Delves are solo dungeons that reward gear at max level. It's easy, low commitment, and gives a good source of everything you'll need in endgame.
Crafting is entirely overhauled and a lot more complex. If you're a craftercuck, you really need to look up how it works now.
