I played that game having struggled with mental illness myself, and there just isn't anything said there that's of note. It's just some shit about integrating your Jungian shadow, which isn't particularly novel or insightful as a concept. The character having anxiety doesn't really contribute much to the story. It's just kinda there and serves as a plot device at one or two points. The writing is very surface-level and didn't leave an impression on me. Overall I'd say the game is fun, but it's all because of the gameplay, which admittedly has a lot of variety and creativity, plus gets very challenging. Still, a problem with games that are all about the gameplay is that they don't really stay with you going forward. It's a one-and-done deal.
