Seriously though, un-augmented Frostfang is good enough (of course it's much easier if you jam in the Health regen aug). If you've grinded MR Kulve, the Kjarr Ice are great too since they have Crit Element
I personally find GS, LS, and CB with max Ice Attack and Evade Window to be the easiest weapons to beat it

All you gotta do is get the alatreon LBG by knocking him into the wall enough.equip the safi'jiva set and hit him till he dies.
complete no effort win, succeded on my first try after like 50 fails with longsword. I probably had less than 20 lbg hunts total when doing this.
Just beware you will feel no joy for cheating.

Fucking retards. No wonder you're dying. Bring the ice or fire weapon depending on the quest. The urgent always starts in the fire phase, so frostfang DB are the perfect budget option.

Also if you'rer dying to regular attacks just get evade extender and evade window with the safi'jiva set, but if it's the dps check, then get higher elemental damage with safi'jiva set and get elemental damage decos slotted in for the corresponding element that alatreon is in when you enter the arena.

BTW furious rajang set is only for when you're good at the game so you can fully utilise "heroics secret", the set is complete garbage if you're can't beat the monster with your eyes closed.

>bring nullberries or slot on blight resist 3
>bring astera jerky or sushifish scales
>drink dash juice if you have any
>hit RT/R2 and go into demon mode
>go up to Alatreon's arms and spam Y/Triangle, literally nothing else, just mash Y/Triangle in demon mode near his front arms
>when he's down, or stuck in a long animation, do your demon dance (Y+B/Triangle+Circle)
>rinse and repeat until you get a topple
>once in Dragon mode (purple aura after explosion) aim for the horns (the only time you can break them)
>just spam Y/Triangle in demon mode near his head
>if he stays in the air too long, either flinch shot him down during a pause (only during yellow icon, you can't flinch when icon on minimap is red) or use two smoke bombs and sit inside of it for a second, he'll immediately land and go into "search"(purple icon) mode for a few seconds, even when you begin attacking him again
>escaton judgement - eat an astera jerky/sushifish scale when your health is about half way down

How would you do it with Lance?
I've seen videos of people doing it solo, but I got hardstuck trying it and eventually gave up. I never fought Fatalis because I got stuck so hard at Alatreon. I did have the Kulve Ice weapon, if I remember right.
