Analog Horror
What's the MOST HORRIFYING Videogame you ever played?
Anonymous No.718504621 [Report]
slender, of course!

>video game
>HORRIFYING
No such thing.

Only stressful horror games I've played are Darkwood and F&H1.

Gemini Home Entertainment kicked ass. The problem is the Mandela Catalogue had like 1 good episode that inspired a whole host of terrible knock offs, including the other episodes of the same series. It's a slop heavy genre

The dark knight scared the shit out of me as a kid and I've legit never been scared of a game since

The silent hill that never was. That demo game still creeps me out a decade latter when when walking down a pitch black hallway to piss.

As in spoopy? Probably scp containment breach, just for being extremely dense OW THE EDGE spoopy place, the game.

As in
>As a gamer, you were legitimately scared about possible outcomes in a way that invoked fear, dread, and worry
Probably Noita god runs or 150+ day Don't starve runs. You start feeling the pressure intensely somewhere around hour 30 of
>you get one try at what you're going for, and you should know if you fuck this up, you're FUCKED

>Noita god runs
shit's more of a chore, you literally have to spend like +4 hours in a game where you already eliminated most mechanics with perks

>is that a stretched face? AAAAA SO SCARY IM GOING INSANE
Anonymous No.718506979 [Report]
>>718506576
Yeah but the knowledge
>you know you're gonna have to break the perk reroll machines again if you fuck this up, right?
still keeps the fear intact

They did Kojima dirty. Than he gave us DS as revenge and now we went from movie games to commercial games. Thats the true horror story.

also at least for me my first win was an invisibility stealth run and knowing
>you touch one pixel of any liquid and it's joever, they'll tear you to pieces
is still a horror/pressure highlight for me, there's a long period before the god run really gets going of
>literally anything can go wrong, also now you're blinded or can't shoot spells and there are enemies all around you and you're on fire, feel free to PANIC
Anonymous No.718507987 [Report]
The real analog horror is this one creepypasta I can't find and I have asked in these threads multiple times about it since it was a screencap I saw on /v/.
