Six years ago, Paradox sold preorders for the 90 dollar Blood Moon Edition of Bloodlines 2. Their retail partners will fucking crucify them if they do not deliver three editions of the game. One 60 dollars, and one 90s dollars. This is not negotiable. If the 90 dollar edition were cancelled, retail partners would have to refund 90 dollars to every customer. If the standard edition got the same content as the 90 dollar edition, they would have refund 30 dollars to every customer. There is no way out of this. They had to find some way to add additional content to Bloodlines 2 that they could sell as premium DLC, and extra clans was chosen. They cannot do anything. No amount of online protest is going to change a single thing. This isn't something Paradox can change. Nobody can.

IIRC all physical editions got refunded, but digital ones needed to be requested.
