It’s been so long since New Vegas came out that it def is dated. Especially with Fallout 4 and 76.
Unnecessary advancement gates like needing 2000 caps to get on the Strip is going to feel like a slog.

2000 caps is nothing, and you can bypass it in several ways. You can hack the securitron with 80 science, which is easy by the time you get there if you go full science on a science-tagged character. You can buy the passport from Mick and Ralph's for 500 caps, or 375 with a barter check, or literally for free if you have NCR rep by then. You can also just ride the monorail in from Camp McCarren if you have NCR rep or just have Boone with you to bypass Freeside entirely (and then you can leave and enter via Freeside for free). And lastly you can always just blast your way in if you don't give a fuck about the infamy.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are some of the ugliest professionally made 3D games out there.

I predict this being the outcome, but not because Vegas blew up. They showed it with basically the same appearance at the end of season 1. My theory will be that they reference the Courier coming in and doing something vague at Hoover Dam, not indicating which side they took, and then fucking off immediately before anyone could figure out what happened and some Original Character sweeping in to fill the power vacuum to keep it basically the same.

I think House will be confirmed alive though because
1. They have an actor for him.
2. They won't want to shelve a character like that when they can milk him for memberberries.

I had fun with my last run. Modded it for the first time. Went seriously into energy weapons this time. Used a modded laser rifle for most of the game but eventually upgraded to the YCS.
