I take out the stupid grinding and resetting from Digimon games. Pretty much every single one has you train a partner only for them to die at some point and require to retrain then from zero just go get stronger. Sometimes evolution itself is locked behind many cycles or rebirth. Take out that crap to just let me keep my Digimon and it's much better, it should be optional if you want to train another one.

If you take something out of a video game then the object's fidelity will change but not it's shape.
For example if you would take a character from Psychonauts it wouldn't come out as a normal looking human but as the same thing you see in the game apart from the now photorealistic looking skin.
The machine can create souls and make materials that defy laws of physics if that is needed for the object to be accurate to the game.
It can also take some creative liberties at doing anatomy, so if some otherwordly creature is unlike anything on earth, the machine will think of an anatomy that would be required for it to live in the narrative it was in.

Do I get to specify a specific point in the game that I take it out from? If I play the game after the fact does the item itself not appear inside of it and the game's story changes and/or glitches out for it?
Because I'd probably take the Keyblade due to how overpowered the thing is, but I don't want to doom everybody in the story to death because I took it or anything. If I could just snipe one from a character at the end (like say, Data Sora's from Re:Coded since he gets deleted anyway) then that would be ideal. It'd be rude to ruin a story if I didn't have to.

The implication is that the characters in the video game are meant to have skin. If you would take out a character that is made out of porcelain then the they still would be made out of porcelain. If you would take a character that is clearly human but due to fidelity doesn't look like one, then the machine will still pick the materials that fit a human while adhering to the shape.

As for something more proper, my first though would be the Portal Gun, but that one is bad too. It only works on moon rock paint, so you can't really make multiple portals IRL even by the normal rules.
Many things powered by magic or space tech would be fairly unsustainable as well.
Really, food seems like the best option. Low profile, interesting to try, not going to get you in trouble, and doesn't need to be kept up at all. Just something simple to enjoy.

Why cant it be "massive"? Outputs on production machinery arent always made to be 1:1 slots for the product.
