You know, this doorman character is really interesting, Valve could make an entire puzzle game just about this gimmick. They could call it "Doors" or something, what do you think?

Yeah but Deadlock has too specific of an art style and setting they would need to differentiate it somehow. Valve have already done lab stuff with Half Life yeah? Maybe a more clinical an empty setting than Black Mesa

There are datamined assets for an escort/payload mode, so there is that. Also, CTF shouldn't be too hard to implement considering the Urn is already a thing. The only things I can't think how you can make work with a traditional shooter game mode is souls and the shop, unless if you have it that the objective gives teams x souls, you passively gain y souls or the candlesticks are still around except they help with the heroes and their objectives instead of being lane creeps.

Doorman is cool because it makes me think of Dormin the ceiling demon from Shadow of the Colossus.

Could possibly be a fledging god or demon that participates in the game because 1; he thinks it good fun and needed to let loose a bit violently and 2; he needs more ghosts for his hotel.
He has a line when he levels up where he says “I’m sure those two (the patrons) won’t mind if I put my thumb on the scale”

He had a bunch of dialogue where he’d shittalk people for 10-30 seconds at a time saying everything from kys or just mocking their failures, Grey Talon he just throughly listed off his failures to be a proper father and with his son and grandchild getting violently murdered prior to the games events he’ll never get the opportunity to redeem himself as a parent

I think they should finish Artifact Foundry.

Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.
