The only people who hate 2019 are the type of "person" who still played COD after Black Ops 2. MW2019 was a breath of fresh air and they fucked it up after they got back on top

This was my first introduction into CoD since Black Ops, the first Black Ops, and it felt so cheap, I forgot how cheap CoD felt in terms of gameplay when compared to other titles like Battlefield.
But I don't think it will be dying to Battlefield, no one cares about the alternate release titles of CoD, I'm sure whatever the corpse of Infinity Ward makes next year will be highly successful as all their titles seem to be.

Really? If anything its the highest quality COD release in forever. The feel, animations, look it was all top tier.

Even their battlepasses were high quality. There was a skin for the Beretta M9 that looked like the samurai edge from Resident Evil 1 or a Steins Gate watch

Because once you get over the fact that all the "improvements" are superficial aesthetic shit to make tiktoks to, you realize the actual game is glacial and plays awfully.

It's not a fucking coincidence the two engagement peaks of COD since 2019 are fucking Cold War and BO6, and that all of MWIII and even BO7's advertising as far as gameplay improvements are "hey we're undoing that retarded shit Infinity Ward did" and it actually worked.

I do agree that it did look incredible, but aiming, recoil, etc all felt cheap to me, arcadey as they say.
That's what I meant when I said that it felt cheap, like actually moving around in the world and shooting felt like playing some F2P trash even if it was visually beautiful.

I had fun during the beta when you were rewarded for corner camping and listening to footsteps but most people aren't into that

So like old COD? I dont know where you guys act like old cod is this run and gun super speed shooter comes from. You needed a perk to sprint forever, the TTK in older cods was nearly 3 bullets sometimes, and maps were honestly larger as fuck. MW2019 was a return to form and its why its the most popular COD of the 2020s

COD 4, WAW, BLACK OPS 1, MW2/3 are basically older clunky cods with fast as fuck TTK and a lot of gimmick large maps.

They didnt start with the dopamine psychology tier gameplay till BO2. More smaller 3 lane maps, faster gameplay, and more bright colors

MW2019 6v6 was so fun. Had a great time grinding camos and not having to pay for new maps. I didn’t even mind the shitty maps like Piccadilly.
