because i don't want a fishing minigame in a sonic game and more importantly, he filtered lots of people because you're supposed to hold down on the analog stick when a fish bites and i don't think the game explicitly tells you unless you read the instructions, which most people can't be fucked to do

Big could have just been a funny side character, but he became the embodiment of the Adventure devs wasting time on implementing retarded non-sonic gameplay to pad out the game instead of making more action stages.

I do wish the fishing in frontiers had more to it than what it was. The lo-fi music with Big was pretty neat, really warmed me up to him.
