i think there are some builds that may use special demon skills, that demons have from demon synergy, but im not sure what to use.

CoC and Vengeance have exclusive demons. There's exclusive demons for aligning with Order or Chaos as well as Neutral.
However you can unlock the demons from Order and Chaos through Vengeance. By playing Vengeance you get a key item in a sidequest, which will let you fight the Superboss Masakado in CoC. And in CoC you get a key item to fight Satan in Vengeance.
By doing things by order, you save up time and get to experience and unlock all of the game's content.

Masakados is true but there is no key item to fight Satan, you just need a save file with a game clear for his quest to appear. If you beat Vengeance, save in a seperate slot and reload before the final boss, Satan quest will be there.

Concentrate is superceded by Impaler's Glory and the Donum Skills. The Donum Skills are skills for you to give a weaker charge/concentrate to someone else, this will be your favorite thing ever for support demons. Impaler's Glory is 3x and Pierce and honestly one of the best magatsuhi skills for any non-almighty build. Charge/concentrate are now more for timing or mp conservation tho they have their uses. The Magatsuhi skill Twilight Wave from wilders scales of STR so it can be charged for cataclysmic damage.

As for Sakukaja and Sukunda, you can't dodge tank with them but they are very useful for accuracy especially for low accuracy skill builds like Figment Slash. Hayataro and Glasya Labolas have skills that scale off sakukaja levels too. Bino can actually dodge tank with new skills in Vengeance too

STR-Phys and Almighty crit builds
MAG-Covering weakness, or Ice Maxing, also can do Almighty
VIT-Support skills and tanking
AGI-Low accuracy skills
LCK-Ailment builds and chasers (Poison and Venom Chaser for Profaned Land)

All stats are viable. I did a mix STR/MAG build focusing on Allmighty since Bino gets physical and magical Almighty skills and it worked out well. Also did all the standard stuff and it's fun. LCK build is a lot of fun since the only boss in the game with ailment immunity is the final boss so you can do the whole game locking enemies and dumping on them with chaser skills.

Is there any other reason to spend magatsuhi besides the all crit move? It feels so powerful and the other ones I've seen just seem gimmicky.

But if you really want to break the game, you use strategize, which is considered by far as the most broken magatsuhi skill.
