It didn't resonate with gamers. Initial sales are strong out of new toy syndrome and expectations after Switch 1 but everyone is bored or having buyers remorse. Without a strong holiday title things aren't looking good for longterm success

It's too weak. Steam deck was released 3 years ago with roughly the same performance (better cpu and memory but slower gpu) for cheaper. There is no wow factor as a result. They should have used newer hardware, and a bigger battery and this thing would have smoked the steam deck. But that would have cut into nintendos massive & greedy profit margins.

Additionaly nintendo has been asleep at the wheel for the last 4 years or so. They havent even shown a single game that was built up from the ground up for the switch 2. All we've gotten is switch 1 games but at 1440p and 60 fps. They dont even use DLSS
they should've kept totk a dlc like it was originally planned and focused on making an actual new zelda for the switch 2 launch
splatoon 3 was also unnecessary and took away resources from acnh (half-baked trash that sold because of covid meme)

Right. The fact they don't have mainline Zelda OR 3D Mario is insanity. Yeah pokemon is there but even that isn't a "proper" one. Switch 2 is spin-off central. Reminds me of the late Wii U 3DS years
