how many of these cases could you realistically solve before the class trial occurs? the only one i could figure out was 3-2, if im being well and truly honest
>>720013754 >what the fuck is a "meat bone"
I was so confident when I did "On the meat bone" and later felt like a fucking retard. Literally thinking to myself "wtf is a meat bone and why did I think that was a thing"
>>720017360 >alibi
By the time I got to V3 I learned not to consider alibis as any conclusive evidence considering how wacky some murder methods are. Trying to point fingers based on alibi is basically what Yasuhiro and Kazuichi do. They're the retards of their games.

That's the problem in this scenario. You have to wait for the trial to either see the big convoluted twist that narrows down the killer, or to see the killer start to get argumentative. And only then will you know.
>>720013571 (OP) >eyes immediately read from left to right >on bone meat, no that doesn't sound right >on the meat bone, oh shit time is running out this sounds plausible >wrong
I am certain this is how almost everyone did this

Shuichi had it the worst out of the three protags. Now he has to live with a retarded girl who pees her pants and a chick who's in love with the dead guy who patronized the hell out of him.

whoever localized this did not think it through that there could be multiple ways to say this in english and still be techically correct.
>>720022639 >gets screwed over for the sake of foreshadowing the twist
They should've at least gotten rid of her disease during the trial so we could've gotten something fucked up like Gonta where she doesn't realize she's the killer
>>720027264
muh danganronpa trope script (that isn't set in stone by anything other than convention) demands that chapter 3 killers be crazy and heartless
But honestly I think that's best for the game's pacing
>>720027541
I don't think there's anything wrong with having unsympathetic killers, Korekiyo is great. The problem is that Mikan is forced to be out of character for the sake of getting a murder and also foreshadowing the remnants twist.

I didn't mind it being Kaede as much as I minded the game very suddenly becoming an unreliable narrator. I get that you're supposed to piece together that the only person who could've done or known any of the things that lead to the murder was Kaede but the execution of "teehee she dropped everything she had which lead to a very stupid murder that shouldn't have worked" felt like bullshit in the moment.

There's genuinely no reason for her to have not taken the First Blood Perk. She just wasted everyone's time in a trial that almost killed everybody because they suspected Shuichi and then she gets brutally killed in front of all her friends to traumatize them
Danganronpa only worked once to be frank.
No matter how you spin the ending, you know from the start they're just on a TV show in 2 and 3.
Yeah, Danganronpa's been going on for 53 seasons, but what does that really matter for the cast? It's ultimately the exact same twist as 1 being done for the third time.

Kodaka recently on a Weibo Q&A: > Q: Did you approve Danganronpa 3 anime's content? I believe there are many parts that clashes with the previous installments. >A: Apart from "If there are more episodes it'd be better", I don't have any other particular complaints.
Perhaps I'm making excuses for him, but in this situation it's not like you'd want to launch into a detailed critique of mishandlings, putting aside how it would seem like bad form a decade later.

It's been a long ass time, but I think it was the wording of the preceding question. like it asked where is the evidence, rather than what is the evidence or some shit
>>720029729
I just consider V3 to be set in another universe ala JoJo SBR that just took the first two games as reference cameo. There's nothing to confirm that they took place in the same world.
Nothing changed about what happened in DR1, DR2 and subsequent spin-offs and prequel directly connected to it as it is contained in its own universe.
>thought blood being pink would be relevant in the first game since the dried blood in the classroom is red >it becomes relevant in another title instead

That one was PURE bullshit. There's no way that's real. I tried so many combinations, 95% of them Im sure, and eventually gave up and looked a playthrough. It still doesn't make sense.
Worst part is, even monokuma tells you to your face this shit is completely worthless to figure out. A witch could have done it, and nothing would change since it was a past crime.
