Burned a bunch of games with Nero Burning Rom and kept the copies in a CD binder.

>Rich friend dumped all his gameboy color and advance games in a plastic bin.
>Manuals and some cardboard boxes mixed in.
>All in a pile.
>PS discs mixed alongside DVDs
>PS discs out of their container, sitting on top of playstation, in piles of 4/5, resting on dusty desk, etc.

I have forever since hated the mistreatment of any and all technology. Didn't have much, but what I had was treated like gold.

Nobody kept cardboard game boxes. That's why CIB games are so expensive now.

Nintendo should have used plastic cases like Sega to begin with.

I did this. I didn't know what else to do with them. Too small and awkward to put on a shelf.

I did this and don't really regret it. Most early game boxes didn't, don't, and won't hold up over time and there's really no sense in keeping something that just naturally degrades with time and use. I only started keeping game boxes when games started to come in plastic/acrylic shells which helped keep the box integrity.

Now I'll tell you one thing I regret having done as a retarded tween, which is cutting up game manuals and inserts so I could have pictures of the characters in the games that I liked taped to my trapper keeper.

Ah you've found me! But my book was crude drawings of all the hot teachers in school badly drawn cosplaying video game characters and usually fucking me. I got in trouble after I left it in my desk and some chick found it when she was apparently "looking for a pencil"

>That kid who played video games at everyone else's house and never invited anyone over to his house
>Find out years later that his parents constantly physically fought and playing video games anywhere else was his only reprieve
Not everyone had a happy functioning home like how i believed growing up. The world is tough on some people
