Yeah, but it doesn't overstayed it's welcome, I completed it in 3 and a half hours. The few mechanics that gorintroduced in each chapter were enough to not make the gameplay stale in that short duration. But yeah, nothing groundbreaking or 10/10 level.

Don't know what Cairn is but will check it out.

Depends what you want or can tolerate from games. There isnt a single videogame narrative ive considered worth gameplay, but this one is. Ill have to finish playing it to figure out why and just what makes it so different to other narrative driven games and rpgs in general
