Someone has to make one first. And they won't, because there's no pre-established market with easy point and click gameplay to emulate.

Don't you know anon, Khosrow II besieging Byzantium and the English Civil War obviously belong to the same historical era and are events based on the same underlying cultural, societal and economic structures.

A knight simulator would go hard.

>questan
>courtan
>duelan

People would cry that having to partake in elaborate courtship rituals with women you are not even remotely allowed to fuck and engage in communal masked dances with your lord and peers while wearing colorful costumes is gay.

Yeah but then you get in a duel because your rival took offence at your blatant display of ambition.

duels sound more like an 18th century boofonery

For me, it's the sallet. The great helm and spangenhelm are a close second (tied).

I wish there was a semi-realistic medieval knight life simulator RPG.
You travel the lands on your horse doing tournaments, duels and helping villagers fight of bandits to gain fame and gold and getting drafted into wars by your king. Or you can go the evil route and rob peasants and become a robber baron, which knights historically did sometimes.
You start as sn imporevished knight with no armor and weak combat skills and will have to work your way up. You can also recruit a following that will aid you outside of tournaments and duels.
The goal, besides leveling up skills and gaining more wealth and better gear, is gaining fortune or infamy to become a legend remembered for centuries to come.

Nah, it happened in the medieval world, too.

Like if you merged Kingdom Come 1 with Mount and Blade.

That's literally modded warband
Anonymous No.720197158 [Report]
i just want warband combined with chivalry 2

There's fuck all questing in Warband, same with adventuring. Which is fine, because it's not that kind of game.

Warband is what it says on the tin, a warband simulator.
You and command raise an army and do military politics.

And that's fine, it's just not a knight sim.

A knight sim would involve a lot of managing your estate.
Anonymous No.720199290 [Report] >>720199364

A knight simulator should involve:
>Lots of riding and traveling
>Tournaments
>Duels
>Hunting bandits and wild animals
>Becomming a bandit
>Getting drafted into warfare by a king

Yes, and if you want to go Arthurian you could add in various quests. Though as said you left out managing your estate, which is a major component.

I don't know how much quests would go into fantasy territory.
Dungeon delving, treasure hunting and fighting huge monsters like minotaurs is very nice, but not in a historic accurate knight sim that is supposed to convey an authentic late middle ages knight experience.

I was thinking less D&D questing and more something akin to Gawain and the Green Knight.
