Just beat this game + DLC yesterday and really liked it a lot. What does /v/ think of it? Did you guys like the ending?

And did you get stuck on any puzzles for a long time? I think I got everything with pretty good timing but I could see killing yourself on the fire tripping a lot of people up DLC wise.

Also did anyone else tear up like a sentimental bitch at the ending to the DLC + the way the Prisoner was at the eye or just me?

Minit, it's much simpler and obviously nowhere near the same deal but it's the same concept.

I genuinely believe it's one of the best games ever made, because the theme of accepting the inevitable and still finding beauty in it hit me like a brick wall when I was doing my first runthrough. I tear up every time I get to the campfire on replays. The soundtrack is just so fucking good.

The only puzzle that REALLY got me stuck was the fireplace in the DLC. Felt really stupid when I had to look that one up.

Wanted to play this for a while but I refuse to pay 14 bucks or whatever it costs when its only -40% off while being a game from fucking 2019. Until its 4.99 or less Im not gonna get it.

There's too much platforming and physic puzzles for it to be called a walking sim. It's more of a puzzle game but one where all the gates and checks are based on knowledge instead of actual unlocks so if you already know what to do (which you have to piece together over around 20 hours of exploring and finding clues) you can do like >>720275739 said and finish it really fast. That said it's impossible to know any of that stuff right away and the ship log will provide you direction by telling you when you've figured something out and what your discoveries were.

I absolutely loved it. Don't know many games like it sadly.
I got stuck on the jellyfish but in the base game. The entire DLC stumped me

I've cried like a little baby at the end of the game + i've cried even more after completing the DLC. The prisoner and his instrument make me violently sad

Is the dlc worth it if I already 100% the main game?
>And did you get stuck on any puzzles for a long time?
I don’t know why, but my brain completely turned off whenever the game talked about warp travel. So I didn’t figure outhow to use the ash twin teleporters until 12 hours in

I liked the DLC though maybe get it on sale? It's about as much content as maybe two planets worth of stuff give or take.

It's mostly used to fill in some stuff with the plot that wasn't properly explained and give you new stuff to figure out with a central mystery you need to uncover.

Really liked the game, haven't completed the DLC yet. Maybe will try it soon with the VR mod.
I didn't get stuck much but I remember spending a lot of time on the planet that has black hole inside of it because I kept falling into it while trying some tricky platforming.

It's one of the best games released in the last 10 years. It gave me a sense of wonder I've not felt since I was a child.
I enjoyed the DLC because it was different, though I would have prefered some more space stuff. I really like how it ties into the story though and how it changes the ending.
As for puzzles, I guess the one you mentioned is the one I was stuck on for the longest time aswell.

Kind of disappointing if taken to be the moment you free the prisoner, but I liked the addition to the original ending. I just wish you could have freed him on the final loop.
>>720271770
>Fireplace
That's definitely difficult to figure out on your own, especially if you haven't figured out the geography of the dream world yet.
Anonymous No.720282491 [Report]
I didn't get filtered by the fireplace but I never tried dropping the lamp while inside the simulation, my brain must be built upside down.
