How do you cure game burnout
>34 yo
>no life
>can't enjoy anything
>not even games anymore
there's probably a bigger issue underneath all that but I can't ignite my fire for games anymore.

You gotta go back to the classics. Nothing new is going to spark things like an great older title.

People don't play for fun or to win.
They play to play the current thing.

Yes, without pants as well. My sister would often lie on a sofa, spread her legs in some way, and set the fan to blow on her groin. I'd usually make some remarks about tuna or some shit, and she'd roll her eyes and tell me to piss off. Women aren't exactly delicate and tidy when they're comfortable.

this, I played helldivers with the boys but since then it's been streamer-bait none of us are interested in.
why would four ~30yo's sit down to play peak/repo, they aren't real games.

Been there, I'll be honest with you pal I don't care if you're a disgusting troon
When I was 26 I cured it going back to simpler/no tutorial games, like platformers or metroidvanias (snes mario, troonleste, skul, death road to canada)
When I was 28 I could only got my enjoyment back with anphetamines (I got prescribed the weight loss ones) and I played a lot of souls, rts, jrpg and heavy text rpgs
When I was 30 the only thing that cured it was playing because of bitches, I played a lot of lol and roblox because I was in love with a vtuber
Now that I'm 32 the only thing that allows me to enjoy games is alcohol, sweet cocktails to be specific, sometimes with snow even... I only play rts now
I'm not saying any of these are the ideal solution but that's what has worked for me.

Now go for score and you've caught the shmup bug. Shmups are like if you took every video game and grinded them down into their purest form.

Bro do you not? The stomach is an amazing way to cool off your body. Same with the back of the neck. I think it has something to do with how our bodies vent heat.

Based take. Not every game needs to be a 100-hour epic with crafting trees and seasonal grinds. Sometimes a 30-minute arcade-style romp that actually respects your time hits harder than all the AAA slop combined.

I was in the same boat but then got back into college and a couple unrelated courses (in person or whatever its called in english, ie not online) and having something resembling a life, in other words i created an actual daily routine.
Two months ago i played Abiotic Factor for 2 hours and dropped it thinking it was too simple/straightforward for me, but it was just burnout, since then with this new routine my desire to play Abiotic Factor got so strong i bought it full price.
