It's neat. The Napalm EAT is fun but I still hate that it takes forever to deploy from your back.

Why do the dragons just instantly kill you most of the time? Is this another 'headshot damage lol' issue. I pre-stimmed, wore medium armor, and dove the second I lit on fire but still got turned to paste by a quick flyover

I think it's alright. Sometimes it can feel like a bit much if you get fucked by the enemy seed or whatever, more so on this than Super Earth being invaded.

Not quite, it is however another multi-hit issue. Basically you're getting insta-gibbed by having 3-5 particles hit you within 0.01 seconds of each other taking huge chunks of your hp.
The solution is to wear the inflammable armors for a fat 75% damage reduction.
