I'm not a fan of the shit where the boss never flinches to your attacks for any reason whatsoever design. It feels so shit to just hit a sitting duck after attacking them enough times. What's the point of cool combos if you can't use them on the actual hard fights?

Tales AI has been fucking retarded for a long while. Take Symphonia as an example. You can set your spellcasters to Long Range Magic Only, but they still insist on running all the way across the field up to the enemy to get one or two swings in, and then run all the way back to finally try casting another spell.
