i use a meshify 2 XL since it's one of the few cases that supports a frontal 420mm AIO.
need 420mm so my CPU cooler never makes noise even under heavy load. 360mms are loud fuckers.

i also mount two 14tb HDDS right in front of the fans to keep them nice and cool.

overall i have no complaints about the case. maybe it would be nice to have a 5.35 bay. and it would be nice if you could take the PSU shroud off instead of having to go underneath. i really don't like PSU shrouds.

You do not need liquid these days. Tower coolers work just fine. Micro ATX is cheap and no more difficult than any other motherboard. Getting a case with more space than you need will help you build if it's your first time. An errant screw or a piece of metal that finds it's way onto the PCB can fry your system so it's nice to be able to reach inside and make sure everything is clear. It makes maintenance easier too.

Im using a Be Quiet! case.
It looks good but i do have an issue with it aside from the Tempered Glass (fearful of it shattering)
My issue is that it randomly creaks and makes sound like its a fuckin' house settling.
I'll be sitting here and i'll hear it out of nowhere like it just shifted its weight to the right.
Also LEDs are too fuckin' bright, all the color options and light settings are blindingly bright.

A King 65. Originally wanted a 95 but the Pro model with included fans was out of stock where I am. For some reason Montech's the only one offering low-cost reverse blade 120s here while other brands cost an arm and a leg by comparison, so at least the brands all match.

The standout is that it's a white case with black components. Don't know why techtubers rarely ever do such a thing when a mix of those colors is generally complimentary. Always pure white or pure black.

The primary cooling direction in fishtank dual chambers is bottom up, not front back. If 3x 120mms in the front are good enough for you then 3x at the bottom will do the same. I got this, lots of room, fan access top, rear, front, bottom, glass pane so I can see the innards for when I need to clean up any dust build up, lots of slots for HDDs, slots for optical drives. I just wish the HDD bank was reversed so I can access it from the glass pane side instead of having to pull the other side of the case off to get at them. It's pretty big, not as big as yours, but I like my cases on the taller side.

If you do end up getting one. Just from my testing back intake + top exhaust worked the best for me for good temps. Gamers Nexus had a good video testing the airflow on this but they used a blower style GPU so the testing wasnt quite as complete.

If your GPU has intake fans then just let it do its job, dont stick more fans underneath it because it creates noise due to turbulence. If you get the mesh variety, you can also add side exhaust to expel hot air faster but you'll probably only drop temps by 1-2C or so. The case is ventilated from all other sides because of the mesh so you'll never really choke with heat even during extended gaming.

And I do suggest getting the wood front version because it is mesh unlike the regular version which is non ventilated up front. This way you can have your PSU fan intake through the front and exhaust through the top.

You have 2 options. Either buy a fan controller for all your fans and plug them into 1 header (most case fans dont take more than 0.1 or 0.2v so you can have about 5-6 on a single header without any issue. The second option is to get fans that you can daisy chain like the Arctic PWM PST.

The downside to method 2 is that you lose granular control over each fan and you can only control all of them together.

Nice case overall but shit airflow. I wouldn't recommend it for anything more than a 5060 Ti or 9060 XT.
I'm running a Ryzen 5950X and a 9070 XT capped to 212W (as low as it will go). If I let the GPU run at 304W the CPU would reach 90°C. All the hot air from the GPU goes to the CPU and then has to go through the single 120mm fan (1200 RPM max) at the back.

Case is the one component you can realistically keep around for years and years, so cheaping out might not be the wisest choice. I've built a computer in a 30€ case and it's doable, but I dread every time I have to open it for upgrades. Once it's closed it's okay, but cable managing in a cheap case can be a bitch. Depends on the environment your machine runs in and the load you expect it to be under, good airflow outside the machine in general at room temperature makes a surprising difference, but all you really need to do is get a decent liquid cooler and keep the fans and sink clean and unobstructed. You can buy little cans of pressurised air for pretty cheap when you need to do spot cleaning, but you can make 'em yourself. Thermal paste lasts ages now and is really easy to apply, all in all, cooling your machine down is easier than it was 30 years ago.

It's worth noting that the size of your case and how many openings it has really plays into how well it can cool down, but even with small cases you can just open up one of the sides and that'll solve the problem even with shitty fans.

Also cooling still matters with laptops. Dust builds up in those too.

I have a Fractal Define 7 because I don't like windows and just want my PC to look like a box. I fell for the silent case meme so now in intensive games my fans (which I've had to upgrade to noctuas) have to run hard to keep it cool even with the front door open. When it's not hot it's a nice case.

I made the mistake of buying a cuck case(fractal design meshify c), the max gpu length you can fit without raping your thermals by removing the front fans is 315mm, with is absolutely fucking nothing. You're forced to buy smaller models which are always louder with worse worse thermals. Buy a full tower case and don't make the same mistake I did

A Fractal Design North XL, picked a big one because I like to work on it myself and spare room isn't really all about luxury anymore with these huge GPU's. It's aesthetically very pleasing to me too. Fits my interior which has a lot of wood touches going on.
Not a single RGB horseshit memery outside of fixed olive green lights on my keyboard. Air cooling (not stock) because water cooling effeciency isn't all that superior if you set up a good airflow in your case combined with custom curves. Don't try and convince me otherwise, I've tried both. Horizontal GPU.

It shouldn't. My Define R6 gets great temps with Arctic P12's at low speeds after I took the front door off, works just as well as mesh cases. How is yours set up? I'm on 3 front fans as intake and 1 at the back as exhaust, top panel is sealed off to force a full front-to-back airflow and fresh intake air to pass through the components before exhausting off the back. It's all mine needs with a 5700x3D and a 4070ti.
