Speaking of Metal Gear. I think a large part of the reason I didn’t like 3 as much as many did, is that the villain group felt exceptionally unnecessary. Characters like Pain and Fear hardly added anything. Not every character has to be super relevant and deep, but MGS1 and 2 felt a lot better about it. Haven’t actually gotten far enough in 5 to see if it had the same problem, I know 4 did.

I fucking hate farming for the parasite materials. The armored ones are alright since you can just play Metallic Archaea but the mist and invisibility ones can fuck right off. I really "enjoy" having to play Phantom Limbs and Code Talker.
