There's nothing wrong with making a game that utilizes the best, most expensive cards available. But there's also an implicit agreement that if your game requires good and expensive hardware, then it must likewise look good. Borderlands 4 doesn't look like a game that should need a 3-4k rig to run properly.

If you have the best commercially available hardware and have to rely on tech that is designed for low end hardware in order to have a modern game not run like ass then the game isn't worth playing. This is coming from someone still using a 2060.
