Uh, are you sure? most of them didn't bother putting much on the bottom screen from what I recall...

Looking back the Super nomenclature for the Super Nintendo really was a stroke of genius.
Could just call your game Super [Name] and everyone would get it.

90% of them just have a map or inventory screen down there.
Hell even with Kid Icarus you could just have gyro aiming and do the dialog through individual text boxes on top of the screen with smaller portraits.

They've all got a 3d off function after the first year or so and almost everything got patched. Remember that non-launch 3dses let you turn it off entirely, only the very first model would leave it a little on at minimum.

kid icarus would actually be the perfect thing to port, even, very well regarded bar its controls which would be the one thing they'd have to focus on changing anyway, AND a lot of people who wanted to play it didn't in the end. Perfect port material.

There's already been ports of 3DS exclusives (Kingdom Hearts 3D, Luigi's Mansion 2, Bravely Default) it's not like this is some unworkable tech.

Yes, though on that topic when emulating 3DS most games have a horrible ghosting effect around 3D models and when I've googled it people seem to blame the 3D function making it necessary, not sure what's up with that
