Game is old and venerable, but not enough to keep it in the gamer consciousness.
It happened to a bunch of good Indie games. I learned this when I mentioned Knytt Stories here and got crickets.

I don't personally care though, I barely remember any noteworthy flash games. Nitrome games were generally fun, stick wars was great but its sequel was complete trash, I think I played some rpgs called "sonny" about a zombie guy that I thought were alright but they were kinda lazily put together iirc. Nothing terribly amazing.

N+ is the #1 game I wish I were better at. I loved it so much, but I suck balls at it. That said, I haven't played any N+ games since High School, and I'm a boomer now.

N++ gutted features that N+ had including the cumulative leaderboard and online play. I don't give a shit about 200 kajillion levels, you got a better sense of progress after you cleared a level set in N+. Also, no matter what /v/ says, today's audience will pick a game with a narrative over one without no matter what.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I think this game might have TOO MUCH content, I can't remember how many breaks I've taken from this and I'm still not done with it. The multiplayer shit is absolutely not happening. I wish they would release the 360 version of N+ on Steam.

That level alone made me wonder if I should bother trying to collect all the gold. Pure frustration and tedium, nothing fun about it at all. Don't even get me started on those bonus challenges you unlock afterwards.
