By playing the new game, despite the anxiety. The trick to dealing with anxiety is literally just bruteforcing through it, and it will SLOWLY gradually get less

You delegate the decision-making to /v/
Intead of "I bought these games, I have to play them now", make a thread that says "I have these games, tell me what to play today /v/"

This only happens to me for more than a day when it's a game with a story I loved, that emptiness you get from having to say goodbye to all the characters and world is brutal
try playing it just a little bit at a time until it hooks you
or
play it alongside replaying an old game you like. something of a considerably different genre of course

Every since I resolved to kill myself in January I started to enjoy everything so much more. All the crushing weight has gone away. And that old black ghost. Now I just drink my cup until it's empty.
i often procrastinate on games like that
"just click play lol" doesnt work because if im not in the mood then i almost always end up dropping it and have to pick it up again later
Play shorter games instead of 100+ rpgs.
I’ve been playing survival horror games all month and they’re usually 4/6 hours long. I think I’m just over massive timesink type games, few are fun enough to be worth that commitment.
