no

why would anyone buy a big-ass tower PC when a laptop is smaller, takes up less space, uses up less power, and is portable? if you want to connect it to a big screen you can just buy a dock

I just a laptop for work, hopefully it's strong enough to play at least a few cool games.

I don't understand the use case for gaming laptops. I have a gaming pc and two normal laptops for work and I've never ever felt the need to get a gaming laptop. Do people really play games outside their homes?

I do, I play my Switch on the bus into work and when work is slow.

Pretty pointless with Steamdeck, Switch 2s and Asus ROGs around.
Also insanely expensive if you actually want some real power compared to a desktop.
Also undervolted compared to the real components.
It's just a horrific investment a few years in when the overheating and dust issues happen.
Some OEMs cram components too close together and the heat-radiation basically fries components.
There's also powersupplies that go to shit.
The worst part is that almost everything, even RAM these days, cannot be swapped out like on a desktop.

There was never any such thing as "gaming laptop," anyone who said otherwise is either trying to scam retards, or the retard.
Anonymous No.723212348 [Report]
i was a fool to get a gaming desktop. had to buy a nice desk and chair to go with it when i already had a good recliner to go with a gaming laptop.
