unironically yes. the normie millennial is now 35, his young good looks are gone and if he managed to get a good job and a wife it's all considered above average achievements nowadays. and even then, he's faced with the reality of long term cohexistence, raising children, the almost nonexistant prospects of career advancement and the ever increasing cost of life. the only solace for him are video games where he can pretend to be a dumb teenager again, but now the servers are empty, the chats are on discord, everyone is either a bot or chinese/russian tryhards, the games themselves are turned from monthly subscriptions to f2p with microtransactions, and everything feels extremely janky and repetitive by 2020s standards. you'll never experience that level of immersiona and sociality again, all you have is your miserable real life that will get even more miserable from then on.
