I tried in both S1 and S2 it felt super mashy and weird coming from 2D games

Tekken 8 is the mashiest scubbiest Tekken game there has ever been
Offense is so overpowered in this game you can literally just press buttons and things happen
At low levels especially nobody knows positioning, stepping in 3d, or how to punish moves, so everything becomes a mashfest
If you wanna speedrun noob ranks I suggest learning frame traps and just knowledge checking retards until you get to blue ranks and above
