The kuei-jin are confirmed to be spying in santa monica at the start of the game, she's the only one who drops a chess metaphor the entire game, and she's referred to as "the black queen" in the emails
Last email; A true master has played the entire game before the first move.
It's only one off-hand dialog line at the very end of the game, and it requires a specific dialog tree to navigate. Opinions /v/ros?

This is the only message that has no chess references, her facade is cracking at this point. It's more her reassuring herself.

IIRC, each one of her slimy spawn(hot)adds a defense buff to her main form. Unintuitively, you have to deal with the low threat obstacles first then she is vulnerable, though I can't recall how fast she respawns those or if there's a limit to them.

They spawn if you shoot off her tentacles, if you don't kill them they grow to her scale but they die quickly to aoe abilities. It's just about the only way to get her to not just fucking pelt you from across the map constantly though.
