The problem is that modern culture is so ridiculous that it's impossible to distinguish parody from the real thing. If Rockstar had any sense they would've gone back to the 80s, but I guess you can't make as much money selling flying rocket-launching supercars in GTA Online if you limit the time period.

I knew GTA 6 was going to be a rehash of Vice City over a decade ago but deep down I was hoping they'd do something like the London '69 expansion and set it in the past. There are so many different possibilities of things they could have done but instead they used all their resources and then some to just make a Florida simulator anyone who lives there sees every day.
