Britain is an entire nation where no one knows how to actually critique art. To be fair the majority of people do this, but with the brits it's their cultural snobbish attitude that makes it a given if you're dealing with one.
Instead of approaching art from the foremost perspective of "What was the artist going for here, what were they trying to accomplish and did they succeed?" their understanding of critique is to point things out at random and say "THAT DONT MAKE SENSE, IT SHOULD BE LIKE THIS CAUSE IM FUCKING SMART" (has no training or experience and is borderline illiterate in the respective genre)
It's appropriate to provide personal thoughts and feelings in your review of music / art / film / games. But if that's the sole content then you haven't critiqued anything. You've delivered a blog. The entire youtube """"reviewer"""" space is just this. There's like 1 reviewer of films I've found that actually critiques them
