Waiting for BroDute to finish his indie game has made me realized how spoiled I was for good romhacks when he was still making them. Star Revenge 3.5, 6.25, 0, and Decades Later are all substantial fun platformers despite not including any crazy new gimmicks. Just pure level design.

Just finished another playthrough of the TTYD64 hack on the hardest difficulty this time. Absolute amazing hack, all of TTYD's mechanical improvements but in the superior PM game. Highly recommend it. I wish the randomizer mode randomized more stuff though.

How is Dry Dry Desert a counter? If anything, it's an example of how 64 is superior. The desert has a huge square layout that's fun to explore while almost every layout of a TTYD area is a fucking straight line.
