Any sites to check Steam inventory value? I used https://steam.tools/itemvalue/ all the time but it's been broken for ages now.

It's worth whatever people will pay for it because there's a record of what other people paid for it in the past. People will buy it on speculation that it will retain value or increase in value. This is how the art trade works.

Art buyers don't actually believe some bullshit on a canvas is worth $2 million dollars from an artistic perspective. They buy it because it doesn't depreciate, they can insure it, they can take it anywhere they want, and they can sell it again for at least as much as they paid for it. Try to fly anywhere with $2 million in cash and it will get confiscated immediately, but you can easily fly with a painting. Think of it like a $2 million dollar bill.

I think you need to get you steam account to a certain level before you can get the chance at getting "foil" cards or some shit. The whole thing is to autistic and stupid for me to bother understanding the ins and outs.

There's no listings for any of even the regular cards because the game isn't on steam anymore. I guess it's priceless.

>can no longer be bought or sold
It's worth exactly $0.00.

Man, I deleted steam back in 2012. It's great seening this shit from time to time and reminding myself I simply download and run a game and don't play the niggercattle collectathon for the suits.

The chance of getting it is simply small, iirc 1% to get a foil card instead of normal one, and you only get half of the cards for every game you buy to force you to trade with people.

people abused the system before, like generating new accounts and giving them keys for games (which had no upper limit on how much you can generate at once) that's one of the reasons why they limited key and i think cards don't even drop for games activated with keys instead of games purchased directly on steam, but maybe i'm wrong on this one

I bought Little Nightmares 3 from a key site and got cards

Seems I'm not allowed to make a quick buck without tithing Gabe.

there are some limits to these key activated game, reviews don't count toward the rating.
