>they've cracked down a lot
lmao according to who? Themselves?
Look at the front page of any of the last 10 bosses released, 8 out of 10 of the top 10 are fucking bots, going for months uninterrupted, unstopped.
They do not touch these bots. They never have and never will, they take great pleasure in knowing they keep the gold flowing in the game and continue to buy bonds with it that others spend real money on. Why would they get rid of sinks for both money and gold?
The better example is to look at content like leagues, or dmm, or even the ongoing grid master.
There's not even 100k people that have logged into gridmaster. You're telling me, even with the promise of tradable rewards, people won't log in to even try out a new mode? Nah, man.
OSRS is filled with bots because jagex doesn't know how to stop them. They may know how to handle and track gp sales and buys, but they straight up don't know how to catch botters anymore. There are entire documentation flows on how to avoid tripping the first few weeks of flags that would get you looked at as a bot, and as long as you avoid those, you almost never get caught. People proudly display having botted from like 500tl to max, and never having eaten a ban. I know people who've had dozens of maxed accounts they either sell or just have for whatever reason sitting around.
Shit isn't done. The proof is the fact the fucking bots are still able to set up on BRAND NEW CONTENT and not get touched for months if not years.
There's a bot on the front of yama who's been there since day 1.
There's a bot on fucking twins that's been there since day 1. reported, and people even say what world they're in, you can see them pop out, resupply, go back in.
Nothing from jagex.
nothing. They don't care.
