Anon, if I'm playing a porn game, it's because I want porn integrated with gameplay. I want to be able to control the heroine: does she fight the monster, willfully submit to her desires, or lose and get raped? I don't want to progress just to trigger lengthy, predetermined cutscenes that are only erotic the first time you watch them, when I can dynamically use gameplay to create my own erotic scenarios instead.

In-game animations can afford to be high fidelity because they're simplistic and usually pixelized. As you progress, new and different enemy types provide an effective drip-feed of new animations. "breaking up the flow" is the perfect way to describe halting uninspired RPG Maker gameplay to read text boxes and watch a live-2D cutscene of some anime bitch getting gaped. If you want a taste of good gameplay-focused eroge, play Eris Dysnomia or SiNiSistar.
